JERRY PAPER PUPPETEER

L.A experimental pop artist and comic oddball Jerry Paper has just released another track 'Puppeteer' from his forthcoming album Abracadabra, following 'Quicksand'. It's been released beside an abstract black and white animated video made by longtime collaborator Steve Smith. Jazz piano chords play around a dancing bass line and simple beat. Jerry opens with the line "everyday, as I put my toys away, I think about what Ive done today, it's nothing, I've done nothing, accomplished nothing". He humorously goes on to have an internal dialogue "make up your mind you fool, tick tock goes the time you fool', which is comfortingly relatable. Check it out. -Ellie Rose-Davies
